I remember when I was getting married, my cousin told me that he is not sure we were really compatible with my future wife, actually he thought that we were not. You know, even if two people graduated the same school but one is much slower than other, they can hardly enjoy conversation together, can they?

Emotional compatibility measures your relative emotional attitude towards different things in life. It is very fascinating to notice that intellectual and emotional characteristics of a person are very interrelated. Although intellectual side is very much based on your education, social background and environment, it is quite often overridden by your emotional reaction. Because if you really like something despite your education or parents opinion it can really affect your liking towards another person who also finds that thing entertaining and enjoyable.

So I would suggest as a free premarital compatibility test to test first of all the emotional attitudes both yours and your partner’s towards things you find important in life and then compare your intellectual opinion about them. Talk about it, find why you feel that way and what differences can be bridged and how.
