Have you noticed the change over the last few years of the super hero movies coming out of Hollywood? Superman, Batman, Spider Man, they’re all very dark movies lately. Where’s the fun? Where’s the excitement? Heck, even some of the humor from Superman 2 would be welcome. Fortunately, we do have one choice which will put a smile on your face with the warmth and realism of the way it’s portrayed. That’s the Ironman Movie.
Robert Downey Jr. is not exactly a modern day Christopher Reeve. He doesn’t come across as a boyscout in tights. Nor does he show us the boyish good looks and charm that Tobey McGuire shows in Spiderman. Instead, what he does is he show up with a scotch in one hand, a babe in another and he says here I am, take me or leave me, I don’t care.
