We all play games at some time or other so what makes an interesting nonsense game to you?

Some people love the World of War Craft games and others like brain quizzes. Some people like playing naughts and crosses but this game is also known as ticktacktoe in some countries. Even discovering the different names for games in other countries can be considered a game if you do it purely as a bit of curiosity nonsense.

My brother likes to play brain games and puzzles but I don’t have the patience to sit and figure out maths puzzles that simply are quite beyond my meagre limitations. I love to play word puzzles and will sit for ages looking for and finding hidden words jumbled into crossword type puzzles. My sister-in-law she likes to play puzzles where you have to pull rings and things apart and get them back together again.

My son likes to play things like Rubik’s cube and will sit and fiddle for ages until he gets it out. If he has to go to the bathroom at all and puts it down and you pick it up to put it away somewhere safe he gets a ‘tad’ upset! These body interruptions are not acceptable or convenient apparently.

My step mum likes the good old fashioned cross word puzzles and will sit and wait happily anywhere so long as she has a crossword stashed somewhere in her voluminous handbag.

But one of my favourite games of all is on the internet when you get to play with digital stuff. It beats me how many of them work but they are the nonsense games that make me laugh
